Residential Certifier Looking to gain a better understanding of Performance Solutions? About to apply to have restrictions taken off your registration?

Designed, developed and delivered by Certifiers for Certifiers, this Short Course which is based on the learning outcomes of CPCCBS6118 Assess and advise on performance solutions for Class 1 & 10 Buildings to three storeys, will introduce Certifiers to Assessing and Certifying Performance Solutions in relation to Class 1 & 10 Buildings in NSW.

Purpose

You should attend this course if you want to be able to:

Gain an understanding of the assessment requirements for performance solutions including engaging technical experts.
Determine the NCC assessment methods that maybe applied to a performance solution for Class 1 & 10 Structures.
Review documentation for Performance solutions including verification documentation, expert judgement evidence and plan notations.
Determine and document compliance of a performance solution in accordance with NSW regulatory requirements.

This course is currently provided as an Online Course Only.
6 Hour Total Duration – 3 x 2hr sessions

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this seminar, you will be able to;

Determine service requirements associated with performance solutions for Class 1 & 10 Buildings
Analyse the performance requirements of performance solutions for Class 1 & 10 Buildings
Assess compliance of performance solutions by evaluating the verification information and expert judgment
Determine performance solutions for Class 1 & 10 Buildings in accordance with the NCC and Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

Holds over ten (10) years’ industry experience having worked for Local Government as a BCA Consultant and Building Surveyor before moving to the Private sector in 2015.

Andrew has an intimate knowledge of building regulation and a passion for further understanding and applying building regulations to all classes of building.

Andrew completes work on all classes and types of development providing specialist BCA and Building Regulation advice, inspections and client liaisons.
